About The Author

Don Bongaards is a retired Westinghouse engineering manager who is concerned about problems facing the United States and the world. Because of this concern, he would like to contribute some ideas that might help. He states that, in general, engineers do not express themselves very well in writing. And because of this deficiency, he has written and rewritten his book, over a period of four years, to make it interesting and understandable to the average reader. Included are cartoons at the beginning of each subchapter to illustrate the main point that he is trying to make.
